The Canadian Prairie writer Alice Cameron Brown's collection was donated by her daughter Allison Mitcham in 1993/4, and contains original manuscripts of her poems, short stories, plays, children's verses, and novels. There are also 21 personal journals in Brown's handwriting, both personal and professional correspondence, and 2 copies of her publication Burning Straw-Stacks : Prose and Poetry of A. C. Brown (Box 7, Fld. 9). -- Brown lived in Tisdale, Saskatchewan for many years.
